  • Amanda Allen

    Director & Principle Osteopath

    Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteo), Master of Osteopathy

    Amanda has been providing osteopathic care for individuals and families for over 14 years since graduating from the University of Western Sydney, NSW in 2005. She is passionate about seeing people live life to their full potential, and believes moving and living well is integral to an individual’s quality of life.

    Amanda is a nurturing and empathetic practitioner that loves Osteopathy because of its wholistic approach to treating the body as a “wholistic unit”. She loves not only helping patients to relieve pain and move better, but assisting patients form a greater understanding of of their body, and educating how to prevent injury into the future.

    Amanda holds a special interest in treating; postural pain, scoliosis, mechanical back pain (disc, facet joint and sacroiliac joint pain), shoulder and ankle injuries as well children and pregnant women, being a mother to three little girls herself.

    When Amanda is not at work in her practise, she is probably out running, playing at the beach with her family and enjoying stand up paddle boarding!

  • Nakita Singe

    Osteopath

    Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy), Master of Health Science (Osteopathy)

    Nakita is a country girl who joins us from NSW. She studied at Victoria University for 4.5 years receiving her Masters in Osteopathy. She has also done further education in Dry Needling and Cupping.

    Nakita understands and embraces that every individual is unique in their own ways & provides treatment based on this. Nakita values empowering her patients to live their best life, through a wholistic approach, treating the patient rather than the condition.

    Nakita also focuses on the prevention of injury and providing the patient with the tools to take their health into their own hands through education. She has a special interest in treating lower backs, neck, jaw, shoulders and ribs, as well as sporting injuries and chronic pain.

    Nakita spent much of her time in Victoria being apart of the Victorian Netball League & working for Netball Victoria. Nakita’s strong background in the sporting industry, allows her to understand and relate to patients about the demands of their sport.

  • Lily Marwood

    Osteopath

    Bachelor of Health Science, Bachelor of Applied science (Osteopathy)

    Lily is originally from Victoria and has relocated to the Sunshine Coast after completing her 5 years of study in both a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied science (Osteopathy) in Melbourne.

    Lily encompasses a patient-centred, holistic approach to treatment and believes in patient empowerment movement and education. Lily aims to provide patients with prevention and self-management strategies, imploring patients to take responsibility of their body’s overall, optimising your health.

    Lily grew up playing multiple sports including netball, basketball and most recently AFL and enjoys keeping active. Lily first became interested in Osteopathy after multiple injuries from sport and now has an interest in preventive treatment and the management of sporting injuries, niggles, aches and pains, lower back pain, headaches and neck pain.

  • Dan Fanthorpe

    Osteopath

    Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteo), Master of Osteopathy

    Dan's journey in the health and wellness industry has been shaped by a deep passion for holistic healing practices in both Eastern and Western medical traditions. Over the past 20+ years, he has travelled extensively throughout India, immersing himself in eastern healing traditions of Yoga, Ayurveda and Buddhism. These transformative experiences have helped his practice and enriched his understanding of osteopathy.

    Dan has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal pain: This includes back pain, neck pain, joint pain, and other issues related to the muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons. Also, postural problems, headaches and migraines, repetitive strain injuries, and respiratory and stress-related conditions.

    Dan also has a background in competitive surfing and golf, which has allowed him to work with many professional surfers and golf professionals, primarily focusing on sports enhancement and injury management and prevention.

  • Kath Currie

    Remedial Massage Therapist

    Diploma of Remedial and Sports Massage

    Kath holds a Diploma of Remedial and Sports Massage, has over 20 years’ experience in Deep Tissue work, Cupping, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Reflexology, Relaxation Therapy, Pregnancy and Reiki.

    She thoroughly enjoys helping people with any number of issues by selecting from her full range of techniques and styles tailoring sessions as needed. Her treatments are free flowing and given with intuition and caring to release muscle tension, relieve stress, prevent injury, enhance energy flow, ease fatigue and rejuvenate and recharge the body and mind.

  • Melissa Cross

    Remedial Massage Therapist

    Diploma of Remedial Massage

    Melissa holds a Diploma of Remedial massage with proficiencies in pregnancy, reflexology, hot stones, deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy.

    Melissa goes about her treatments with a kind and caring manner, with a genuine concern for your overall health and wellbeing. She loves combining her intuitive approach with clinical knowledge to practice massage that helps alleviate muscle tension, aches and pain. She uses a range of techniques to assists in recovery from sporting injuries while focusing on areas of the body that require rehabilitation.

  • Ben Vanzoelen

    Remedial Massage Therapist

    Ben has completed studies in remedial massage & dry needling. Through his studies and several years of clinical experience, he has developed a diverse set of skills to target dysfunction in the body that manifests pain.

    The passion and care for people is really what drives Ben to help, not just muscular but may help with mental and immune system health too.

    Some styles of massage Ben uses are trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, muscle energy technique, dry needling, passive & active stretching, pregnancy and Swedish.

    Ben is fulfilled by helping people feel great, be pain free & live to their fullest potential.

  • Martin Kilduff

    Remedial Massage Therapist

    Diploma of Remedial Massage, Diploma of Sports Development

    Martin holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Diploma of Sports Development and has worked in the massage sector for more than 35 years. During this time, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience to deliver a massage that caters to client’s needs with skills including Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point, Pregnancy and Relaxation Massage.

    Martin has liaised with Doctors, Surgeons and allied Health Professionals in delivering Remedial Massage and is well versed in the area of rehabilitation techniques and can tailor a rehabilitation program Pre-& Post-op helping clients lead a better, fuller quality of life.

    Other qualifications include: Australian Registered Exercise Professional, Australian Weight Lifting Federation Sports Power Coach.

    Myotherapist

    Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy

    Jacinta completed an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at the Australian College of Sports Therapy in 2004. Having worked within multi-disciplined clinics for the past 13 years, Jacinta brings a wealth of experience and practical knowledge in Remedial Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Therapy, Dry Needling, Sports Massage, and Pregnancy and Relaxation Massage.

    Jacinta has a welcoming and enthusiastic personality that will make you feel at ease from the moment you meet her.

    Jacinta has a passion for sport and the outdoors in general. She was also a competitive dancer for 15 years earning a State championship title and representing her State on numerous occasions.

  • Kristin North

    Bowen Therapist

    Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy, Diploma in Remedial Massage, Diploma of Training and Assessment (Bowen)

    Kristin has worked in the natural therapies industry for more than 30 years delivering high quality and has a wealth of knowledge and clinical experience.

    Her qualifications include Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy (2007), Diploma in Remedial Massage (2007) and Diploma of Training and Assessment (Bowen) (2011).

    Kristin became interested in Bowen Therapy after sustaining injury herself and seeing some brilliant results with this gentle and non-invasive therapy.

    As well as Bowen Therapy, Kristin practices Remedial Massage services and Dry Needling at our Mooloolaba Clinic.

    Kristin is currently studying for her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours).
